2021 CONTEST REGISTRATION FOR THIS CONTEST HAS CLOSED
The public health and safety of our students, teachers, judges, supporters, and contest staff are a top priority of the University of Georgia and National History Day Georgia. In light of current concerns regarding COVID-19, we have made the decision to convert the 2021 Northeast Georgia National History Day Regional Contest to an online format. This means there will be no in-person components to this year's contest.

Students, we encourage you to continue to work on your projects following the Regional Contest and to take into consideration the suggestions you will receive from the judges. As you revise and expand your entry for state, the National History Day Mentoring Program at LaGrange College is available to assist you. For more information, visit www.lagrange.edu/nhd.

- Check your entries to ensure correct spelling. Once you click 'SAVE', your entry cannot be changed.
- Documentary & Performance Projects: Be sure to set your link-sharing security settings to "Anyone with link can view" so that judges will be able to view your video(s). Failure to do so will prevent judges from accessing your video link.
- Website entries must be made using the NHD WebCentral Platform to be eligible for judging.

2021 Virtual Regional Contest
Thank you for your interest in serving as a judge for the 2021 Northeast Georgia NHD Regional Contest! Judging for this year's regional contest will take place virtually February 12-19, 2021. There will be no student interviews this year.
UPDATE FEBRUARY 5, 2021: We are excited to report that we have reached capacity for our judging team for this year! Thank you for your interest and willingness to help. If you would like to be added to our mailing list for future judge opportunties, please send us a quick email with your name and affiliation to oasp@georgiacenter.uga.edu. If you are interested in judging for the statewide NHD contest April 2-11, register at http://bit.ly/JudgeNHDGA.
NOTE: This registration page will continue to display after you register / log in. If you have already registered as a judge, feel free to explore the Contest Information materials under the Contest tab at the top of the screen. Once judging begins, your project assignments will populate in the Judge Portal under the Judging tab.

To register as a judge, you must first create a judge's account.

After you have created your account, your information will be added to the state NHD judges' database. You may be contacted in the future with information about judging for the state NHD contest, in case you are interested in this opportunity!
